Matt Maltese (born October 6, 1995 in Reading, England) is a British-Canadian singer-songwriter blending indie pop, indie rock and chamber pop, known for his piano-led voice and dry wit. He broke through with “As the World Caves In” (2017), acclaimed for its apocalyptic romance, and released his sixth studio album *Hers* in May 2025. Hits like “Buses Replace Trains,” “Anytime, Anyplace, Anyhow,” and “Always Some MF” mingle longing, humour, and heartbreak. He’s penned songs for Rosalía, Celeste, Joy Crookes and contributed music to the Royal Shakespeare Company.
